November Member of the Month Interview: Kenny Beale

1. What do you do outside of the gym? Career, hobbies, etc.!

I run a salvage auto hauling business. I have been driving for almost 20 years. When I’m not in the truck, I enjoy spending time with the family. Fishing, hunting, and camping are a few things that we spend a lot of our free time doing. We also spend a lot of time at the baseball field, coaching and watching the boys play ball.

2. How long have you been training with us?

I started coming to the gym in January of this year after persistent encouragement from Michelle. Thank you!! Haha

3. What's been your biggest accomplishment since you began training with us?

I would say my biggest accomplishment is the fact that I am still showing up everyday. It’s been the best program for me to be able to be consistent. The fact that I have been able to quit multiple medications and gett off a cpap machine just by adding and adopting a healthier lifestyle. Lastly seeing our whole family workout together is great!

4. What's your favorite thing about being a member here?

The environment that our gym community creates is infectious. People and coaches truly want to see you get better and in turn it motivates you. I also have met a lot of new people I now call friends.

5. What would you say to someone who is considering training with us?

I would say that you owe it to yourself to get up and try, that’s it. It will change your life physically and most importantly mentally. Old 97 is more than just a gym, it’s a family and I’m glad to be a part of it.
