  1. What do you do outside of the gym? Career, hobbies, etc....

Outside of the gym, I try to stay active and social through a few of my favorite activities. I enjoy playing golf and pickleball — both are great ways to stay competitive while enjoying the outdoors. I also make it a priority to spend quality time with my family and close friends. It’s a good balance between staying active and staying connected with the people who matter most.

  1. How long have you been training with us?

I joined the gym in June of 2023 thanks to my brother in-law David Willette. His suggestion to try it has changed my life as far as taking care of myself.

  1. What's been your biggest accomplishment since you've started training with us?

Finally doing a weighted squat after my full knee replacement. It was a year before I was able to do one. I wasn't sure that I would ever be able to do a squat again after my new knee. It's been a hard road but doing that squat gave me my positive attitude back. I was so excited I rang the bell to celebrate and everyone cheered because they knew it was a big deal to me.

  1. What's your favorite thing about being a member here?

Absolutely, it's the community! I am an old man. I have been to alot of gyms. Never have I experienced the support and acceptance of who I am and what I can do as far as my abilities by the coaches and other members. If y'all keep this up we're going to need a bigger gym!

  1. What would you say to someone who is considering training with us?

I’d tell them they’re making a great choice! Training at a gym isn’t just about getting stronger or fitter — it’s about being part of a supportive community that pushes you to be your best. The coaches are knowledgeable, the atmosphere is motivating, and everyone encourages each other to improve.  It’s more than just a workout — it’s an experience that truly helps you grow inside and outside the gym.
